The Emerald Shelf operates a bookstore and community space in Everett, WA but pops up all over the Pacific Northwest. These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and event participants.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using our services or attending our events.
2. Products and Availability
* We make every effort to display accurate product information (title, author, description, pricing, and availability).
* Prices and stock may change without notice.
* We reserve the right to limit quantities, cancel orders, or discontinue products.
* If an error occurs (e.g., pricing or inventory mistake), we may cancel your order and issue a refund.
3. Online Orders and Payment
* By placing an online order, you confirm that all provided information is correct and that you are authorized to use the chosen payment method.

5. Returns and Refunds

* Digital products, gift cards, and sale items are non-refundable.
* Refunds are issued to the original payment method, minus any shipping or handling fees.
6. Gift Cards and Store Credit
* Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash (except as required by law).
* Lost or stolen cards cannot be replaced.
* Store credit expires 1 (one) year from time of accrual.
7. Event and Pop-Up Policies
We’re proud to Pop-Up at markets, faires, conventions, and weddings, host readings, author signings, book clubs, and community events! To ensure a great experience for everyone, please review our event policies:
* Registration: Some events require advance registration or ticket purchase; details are listed on our website or event listings.
* Cancellations: If you can’t attend, please notify us as soon as possible. Refunds for ticketed events (if offered) will follow the refund policy listed on the event page.
* Photography: We may take photos or video at public events for promotional purposes. Attendance implies consent to appear in such materials.
* Conduct: We maintain a welcoming environment. Disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the event.
* Children’s Events: Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian unless otherwise specified.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule events due to unforeseen circumstances.
